Just a little success of mine :)

So I finally convinced my boyfriend to go running with me last night! He has an interview with the DEA next week and if he moves on to the next round he needs to be able to pass some physical fitness test, he's been avoiding it lately but I finally convinced him...I think the new running shoes helped

I absolutely loved it! Granted he runs much faster than me so he finished and walked back to meet me but I ran almost the whole way!!! (minus the two times I had to stop for a second with the dog) I can normally only run for about 5 minutes max and very slowly at that. Well last night I ran about 20 minutes-ish and I was actually running faster than normal! Just having him there with me was so motivating! Even though I knew he'd finish before me I didn't want him to look back and see me being lazy and walking. I can't wait to do it again tonight! Yay me! Hopefully this will help me get past this stupid 193-196 lb limbo I've been in. I've managed to lose the weight without exercise so far, but I think I really need to start for my health. I pray that I can keep this up!

Good for you! I love to run. It really helps me clear my thoughts... and I love getting sweaty... makes me feel like I REALLY worked out.

Unfortunately, I've been working out well and eating bad :( I'm stuck in that 153-159 limbo myself! Best of luck to you!
  • Good job. It's so much easier when you enjoy it. I have a hate/love relationship with my running, xpecially my 3.5 mile. My 3.5 I feel like I'm gonna die when I'm just about finished but I always sprint the last hundred or so yards so it's that much worse. After I catch my breath though I feel like I want to run again.

I must REALLY REALLY be working out... I'm usually soaked by the time I finish my workouts.
  • Great job! I promise if you keep it up it will become addicting...take it from me, I'm addicted! I've gone from not running at all to running 10k in less than 6 months! Keep it up, and I promise you will lose the weight too!
