A Little Confused on Progress...

Hey!

I started the 30 day shred on May 1st, inspired by so many incredible before and after shots.

I'm currently about 30-35lbs overweight.

I've been doing the shred faithfully, sometimes twice a day, sometimes extra cardio that day, sometimes another video. Most days I work out twice, 20-40 minutes a session.

My eating has been really good. Albeit, I don't track EVERYTHING because I essentially eat the same thing every day.

Breakfast is always 1 packet of oatmeal and a banana.
Lunch is always a "fresh express" bagged salad mix- strawberry fields or pear gorgonzola. Sometimes I pair it with grapes, or an apple with peanut butter, or a little chicken. But the main dish is a big salad.
Dinner ranges from a protein bar and apple, veggie and chicken stir fry, ect. Generally pretty low calorie and simple because I am at school.

I drink a LOT of water. Usually upwards of 100oz. Always have.

The only thing I can think of is a lack of protein. My calories are about 1300-1600.

Basically, going from 188-192 over and over. No weight loss. My body doesn't seem to be changing much. I know it's only been two weeks- and no I won't be stopping- but it just feels like others see quicker results of their labor.

Thoughts?

Hi. I think you are on to something regarding the protein. Doesn't sound like you are getting very much. Also calories in general seem ok, but you are working out quite a lot. I would try upping the protein and see how you react.

I'm having the SAME PROBLEM :( Add me if you like! I'm on day 16 and don't see much of a difference other than my endurance level is definetly much higher

I'm on day 15! I've only just done 30DS for two days. The other days I've done other workouts as well. I have taken two rest days, but since I'm doing two-a-days I think that's OK. And I work full time and school almost full time. So my body could use some down time once in awhile !

    Hey!

because I essentially eat the same thing every day.

You know the old definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result? apply that here. Change up what (and maybe when and how much) you eat. See what happens.
