Yes. People who eat gluten free generally have a gluten allergy or intolerance, some as severe as Celiacs disease, meaning even a trace of wheat can make them very ill. Low carb people do it by choice, not because they HAVE to. They also may avoid bread, flour, etc. but will eat carbs in the form of vegetables or beans. Everyone does low carb differently. Some people just choose to eat gluten free, but there isn't much of a point to go 100% gluten free unless your body can't tolerate it.0

Gluten is found in wheat products - bread is the biggest culprit. And while low-carbers would be avoiding bread, there are other foods (such as rice and potatoes) which are gluten-free, but also high carbs.
Also, vegetables and beans have some carbs, but are gluten free.0 -
