I prefer greek yogurt for a couple reasons. First, twice the protein as regular yogurt. Second, I prefer the texture of greek yogurt. I buy plain greek yogurt, then add my own fruit and honey to it, as I avoid any processed foods. I also like greek yogurt to make tzaziki sauce and dressings. Also like it for smoothies.

I eat greek because it has all of that protein and no added sugar! You can't argue 14-16g of protein a serving!

It takes some getting used to though, lol.

I love greek yogurt with cinnamon or cocoa powder and stevia. Took me a while to get used to the taste but now I love it!

Greek! I don't like the texture of reg yogurt anymore. I started eating Greek for the protein, as many others have said.

    Greek yogurt

I find mixing it with some honey, vanilla and nutmeg helps take away that sharp taste greek can have and makes it a nice treat with some fruit usually berries.

Greek - I have it every night, the 0% fat Fage Total. I find it so creamy in texture, and mix in some Pb2, mixed seeds(for crunch) and a little blackcurrant jam/jelly(tbsp) for sweetness.

Greek yogurt is just regular yogurt that has been strained once more. You can make your own out of regular yogurt by covering a strainer with paper towels and letting the yogurt sit over the towels for several hours (refridgerated) to remove much of the water content from the yogurt.

End result is the yogurt is twice as thick with half the original volume

Fat free natural yogurt. I mix with fruit, honey & nuts then freeze it. Yummy. (Got me off of Ben & Jerry's :)

Either yogurt is good for you as long as you are choosing the plain version and not the sweetened ones.

Greek Yogurt! It's also a great way to replace my ice cream cravings (which oddly enough I used to hate ice cream until I started not having it a bunch).

Greek, because it's not as sweet.

Although my favorite type of yogurt product is Icelandic skyr.

Check out Siggi's. Especially the 2% coconut yogurt.

Yep, I use an unbleached coffee filter. After 24 hours, it's thick enough to spread, so I add cinnamon & Stevia.

  • I was eating a lot of Greek yogurt recently and just got tired of it so switched to different kinds. I like them all.

I just started eating greek yogurt along with regular yogurt. It was something different to try but it does take some getting used to.

Same. Smoothies, what a solid idea.

Greek- its the best- Fage Total 0% with lemon curd and some strawberries...

Or if youre from the UK because I dont think you have it in the US yet- Chocolate Philadeplhia in one of those 30g tubs, greek yogurt (Asda's own fat free greek style is good too) with strawberries or raspberries or some chopped up banana.....

omg- way better than ice cream :0)

I put it on salads too with a bit of lemon juice...... proper good !!!

Greek yogurt is much better for curries and other recipes that call for yogurt as well. Makes them thicker and easier to work with.

I try to buy greek whenever possible. However, my grocery store is always really busy, and usually sold out of greek. In this case I will buy natural yogurt. It's still better than the other regular types of yogurts even if its not as good as greek imo.

I've wanted to try Greek yogurt, but the higher calorie content has dissuaded me from doing so. Are there any lower calorie Greek yogurts out there I should try?
