I am having a terrible day in every way
I have that "binge" feeling and I just can't shake it. So I'm here, instead of devouring everything in the kitchen. How ridiculous is it that frustration and anxiety can cause us to hurt ourselves with food??
I had an awesome workout this morning, was all set for my day, and about 9:45, my whole day changed. I'm waiting for the anvil to fall out of the sky on my head! It's one of those days.
I am going to eat the better part of a bag of vegetables and call it a day.

You aren't alone mdogg09. I'm having one of those days too. It's hard to take care of ourselves when we get pulled in so many different directions. I liked how you said you are going to eat veggies and call it a day....after my lasagna and (lots of bread) dinner that cracked me up. Good for you! Tomorrow is a new day. And I'm looking forward to tomorrow.

I have been having the same feelings all day too!! I would like nothing more than to sit down with a fork and a whole cake and have at it!! I think it's the stress of school...?
You know what though? We totally deserve better than that. Just think about how awful it will feel after the binge...

I have days like that almost every day!! Only, I take care of myself in a different way. Think of, and keep in mind, ways that you can pamper yourself instead of swimming against the tide! There are hundreds of cheap, available ways to love yourself. Every so often you're gonna let loose and just go nuts with food - it happens, and we're built that way (think caveman/famine), and you won't mess everything up, as long as it doesn't happen often! here's a hug {{{{{{{{{marci}}}}}}}}}}}}} .... After your veggies, take a hot bath, or soak your feet in epsom salts, or put a heating pad on your shoulders to RELAX!!! THIS TOO SHALL PASS! :flowerforyou:

I am having one of those WEEKS lol
it's like the cold weather hit, my motivation dropped and i wanna eat nothing but comfort food! :grumble: one of those weeks where i keep showing up to work with no lunch so then i have to figure something out without giving into pizza and fries...
so i hit the grocery store [the cupboards are getting bare] and grabbed a few ingredients - only enuff stuff to make the things i had in mind for the week nothing more or less] and throwing some stuff in the crockpot and a soup on the stove to satisfy me for the week,
good luck to getting over this hurdle. WE CAN do it!0 -

I'm feeling down. I'm comfort eater and an emotional one. I have had a very stress filled week so far. I'm not that hungry though. My head is pounding! Lets step it up people!

Hey, thanks everyone. I really needed to just put it out there.. the bad news kept on coming long after I posted, but I had a belly full of sugar snap peas!
