Hello All,

My mother was diagonsed with stage 3 lung cancer and almost everything I have read, says that eating right could have either prevented it or will at least help fight the cancer. Maybe not 100% but at least 30% would not get cancer if eating right. This is my wake up call as I try to help her with this battle and to improve my onwn life style!.

Please share any and all great recipes for myself and what a cancer patient should eat

The connection between sugar and cancer is pretty disturbing: if feeds cancer. And honestly, eating well will prevent all kinds of illness. My own son is medically exempt from vaccines due to an immune deficiency that they predicted would have him hospitalized four times/year at least. He is now 8yo and has been hospitalized once in his life. We eat better than most of the country (almost all of our food is fresh, from farms we know/researched and has no labels).

Of course, you can still eat too much of it! ;)

I'm now taking off weight from years of an undiagnosed insulin-regulating problem. But all I had to do was cut my portions.

"Eating right" is a pretty broad phrase, and will differ by the body/biochemistry. But there are a few basic ground rules that pretty much all the eating regimens agree on. This was a good newsletter about that: http://www.heatherdegeorge.com/2012/04/which-diet-will-work/

    Hope this helps! :flowerforyou:
