Running headphones, help!

Hello,
I want to buy myself a new pair of running headphones because I am going to rip up my in-the-ear style headphones because I haven't found any that will actually stay in my ear (after 4 miles the sweat tends to make them just fall out). I am going to get a pair of behind the neck headphone because I have had luck with those last year (particularly the Sennheiser PMX80's).
I was going to just reorder a pair of those, but before I do I figure I'd see if anyone else had any good suggestions for a decent pair of headphones for running <$50?
Thanks in advance!

Yurbuds work GREAT. I do have a behind the head version of them, but I think any of them will be great. I am very happy with them, unlike normal ear buds that I can't wear for more than 2 minutes!0

I actually found several pairs I like at 5 Below. The go over the ear. I don't need my music to sound like a concert, so I go with the inexpensive ones. I have had a few pairs (even more expensive ones) die because I sweat so freakin' much. I just buy a few sets at a time and replace as necessary.0

These are the ones I have: http://reviews.bestbuy.com/3545/3213128/yurbuds-ironman-series-blaze-behind-the-neck-headphones-reviews/reviews.htm0

I use skull candy ear buds and I love them. They don't slide out and the sound is amazing!!! I like loud dance music for my runs and these are perfect.0

Sony PIIQ earbuds--there are a clip-on version that are AWESOME, literally clip to your earlobes. The sound balance is a little funky, very bass-heavy. however, totally worth it (plus if you are shallow like me, the colors combinations are sick.)0

You should check these out.
http://www.h2oaudio.com/store/surge-sportwrap-2g-waterproof-headphones.html
They were designed for swimmers but when I run I get as sweatty as if I had been swimming. I believe with a little of surfing you could find them cheaper.
I have not used these but I do have a pair on order. I ordered through a vitamin company called Vitacost and they were $33.0 -
I have these: http://www.bose.com/controller?url=/shop_online/headphones/audio_headphones/in_ear_headphones/index.jsp&model=mie2i_headset. I'm not a runner, but I have jogged here and there and never had any problem with fall out.0

I use the Yurbuds Ironman Inspire earbuds & I recommend them highly. If you put them in correctly, they shouldn't fall out. I ran 10K last Saturday & the only time I had to mess with them was when I got caught up in the cord & almost pulled my left one out. I got my pair for less than $30 at Wal-Mart. Here's a review of them.

I have the ones that hook over my ears, they are meant for workouts and running. They cost £20 in Dixons.
However, you can get them on Amazon:

These are my favorite workout headphones:

They sound great, stay put, and they let outside noise in if you're running outside for safety. Lots of adjustments to sit on your head comfortable and snugly!0 -

Dido...best ear buds I've ever purchased.0 -

the ironman yurbuds for me too. Around my neck of the woods they sell them at Walmart and Best Buy for 30 dollars0

Skullcandy or sony are great brands! I use actually headphones and not earbuds...so I can get the full effect0

Ok before you go and spend a fortune on behind the neck headphones PLEASE try "Gumi" headphones. They are made of like a soft rubber and I wear them ALL the time and I run. I run in the gym, I run by the river, and I run in the gale force winds haha!!
Seriously I paid about £5 for mine (About $12 I think) and I swear by them!!

ear buds do not work for me...I tried every size...it's either hurts like hell...or they slowly come out after getting up to speed...
The best headphones that I find are the ones that have the hook that go over your ear...
Here is my favorite: PHILIPS EARHOOK EAR HOOK GYM WORKOUT RUNNING JOGGING SPORTS HEADPHONES SHS3200
Also these cost roughly $10 bucks...I see some people here spending $60 - $90 on earphones...WOW!0 -

Another vote for yurbuds. I'm on my second pair of them. But, I use them all the time (using them right now for that matter). I don't always use them when I run, often I use these Sony's - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0015AFONW/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00
They fit snugly without being all the way in my ears, never ever fall off and I like that the cord is in two pieces so I can shorten it when I'm using my iPod on an arm band.0 -

I use Nike Vapor Sport headphones. They hook around the ear and the cord part is very long, which is great. I also wear them so the cord is behind me-so much better to have it away from me than swinging in front while I'm running.0

I had the same problem. I bought some Skull Candy FIX and they stay put really well. they are actually designed to stay in your ear better and they do. I never have to mess with them any more when running.
As a plus, they are iPhone compatible with the volume, stop/start/skip controls. These are the best ear buds I've owned.
My smoking buds (Skull candy also) would not stay in at all. Constantly falling out.0 -
The only ones I can get to stay in and don't drive me nuts are Yurbuds. Never had a problem and I LOVE THEM!0

I use the adidas Sennheiser behind the neck headphones. Best 60 dollars I have spent. Personally, an earbud doesn't feel that comfortable when I'm running and most fall out. I decided that I would change up and invest in these about 2 years ago and it has been great...

I use Shure SE-115s. I've seen the price fluctuate from $60-$90. I use my headphones hard and was fed up with replacing them every few months. The Shure headphones have a thicker cord and are the most durable headphones I've found. The foam pads need replaced every few months but you get replacement packs for a reasonable price. (I run with them almost everyday so mine may wear faster than others.) The best part is they come with a lifetime guarantee so be sure to register them. I can tell you from my own personal experience they honor it.0

Sony MDR AS20J - headphones - Over-the-ear, Binaural
I have had the same problem until I bought these. You can't beat em' for 20 bucks. I got mine at Wal-mart but you can order them online. Sony also has another pair that look almost identical but the are 40 dollars. I don't know what the model is and other than an inline volume control I don't know what the difference is, maybe sound quality....
The ones I put up there I use in my iPhone 4S and I almost always listen to Pandora. Other than ear phones falling out and getting sweat in them I have had a hard time finding ear phones that are loud enough for my taste especially if listening to Pandora. For some reason Pandora transmits kinda low. These bad boys are loud, clear, and never fall out of my ears. I have had them for about a year now and they never failed me.0 -
Hi
I have had the same problem andmy other half bought me Sennheiser PMX 680i Rugged Neckband Headset for christmas I would never have anything else - they stay in place never rub and the sound quality is great...

I own the best in ear bud headphones, I run use them during my long runs, 10ks, anywhere. they are a bit pricey though at $116..but sound quality is amazing... they are made by Bose MIE2i mobile headset/audio headphones. you can also use them as a headset for your iphone or blackberry phone. it has a volume /pause button on the wire great so you don't have to fumble with your device.
For music
IE2 audio headphones
$89.95
my husband loves his in ear ones...that loop over your ear so ensure they don't slip. they are called Beats by Dre in ear headphones. Good luck!0
