i would think so, but for me i know that when i have my bday next week i will save some calories from the previous day to make sure my week is still on the level :)

Enjoy your birthday. Ignore the scales for a few days after for any water retention scares (unless you can handle it), and just get right back to it after your birthday.
  • thanks :) tomorrow is my birthday so i wanted to make sure it was ok for a cheat day :P

My 2 cents is that this is your LIFE not a short term event (lifestyle change rather than a diet).

Enjoy your birthday! It's a day to celebrate who you are! Have fun!

    And enjoy other holidays.

But maybe eat a smaller piece of cake, or go for a long walk afterwards. On my birthday we had brownie sundaes, but I ran an extra long run earlier in the day so I could enjoy my splurge without guilt.
