    dance, salsa, mambo, urban, pop
  • Wow, I never thought I'd see heavy metal and country separated by a mere "/".

I listen to a podcast - Motion Traxx. It's more of your typical dance music... not metal or country.

I was thinking just the other day "I wish there was a DJ that would mix metal so you can follow the beat while exercising"...

    Gogol Bordello - American Wedding

When running, once I start to feel like I can't go anymore, I put on this song and for some reason I get another burst of energy. Love it!

Joe Jonas' FastLife album. Don't knock it until you've heard it! Very up-beat, fast, dance music :)

I listen to indie and 80's music heavily for working out. Come on Eileen really gets me moving!

Folk /hip hop/ rock- a mix of stuff

I like to run to the beat of a song a lot; Ha, seven minute long rock ballads are killer though!

Woot! Me too. I go from Manson, Green Day, Metallica and all the good 80's hair metal bands to Toby, Garth and Kenny. Love them all.

I keep mine in separate playlists. It messes with my mind too much to go from Friends in Low Places to Irresponsible Hate Anthem in the same workout.

Green Day is one of my favs. The entire Am. Idiot and 21st Century are incredible tunes and keep me going.

I only have all upbeat in my workout list so I dont have to worry about slow songs messing up my walk :)

On my Shuffle I keep all upbeat since I can't pick a starting point.
On my iPhone and Classics I keep all as I can program the slow ones 40 minutes in so that it lands on my cool down. I have a set routine on my iPhone now that I do for coffee breaks that has my cool down song start as I am walking back in the building and up the stairs. Works out good for me that way.
