Hello, I am 66 years old, and live in MO. I started going to WW meetings in Aug, 2010. I have very slowly lost 33 pounds, and now I am really wanting to step it up a notch and get down to business. I began working out with a personal trainer 3 weeks ago, and I see him 3x per week. I am walking 2 miles on the weekdays that I do not meet him, and it takes me approx, 35-49 min to do this. I am eating healthy and trying to follow most all of the WW guidelines.

I would love to meet some friends on here, and share blogs etc. Any motivation will be appreciated.

I am flying to Hawaii in Nov of this year, and I have got to speed my weight loss and toning up.:smile:

Hi! It sounds like you have a great plan going. Congratulations on the 33 pound loss. That's fantastic! I live in MO also and I am going to Hawaii in December (Kauai and Big Island). Hawaii is a great motivator, isn't it? lol. Feel free to add me if you like.

    Penelope,

It sounds like you're in this for the long haul. For me getting even a pound off is difficult. I seem to be losing again doing some interval cardio, strength training. Make sure you take your measurements. I didn't and have been at this 1 year this month. Would like to know how many inches I've really lost.

My motivation is my youngest daughter is getting married September 2nd and I refuse to buy that Mother of the Bride dress until I reach my goal.

    Mary

Well done to you, I too follow WW and am on here logging my calories to help see how I spend my carbs, etc. It does help enormously.

Also, well done on your fitness regime, I think its wonderful.

Thank you very much. I cannot believe I am as excited as I am about the exercising. GL to you as well.
