Can i get some advice on what to get for a good heart rate monitor thats under $100..planning on ordering it online also. I'm mainly concerned with it tracking my calories, and i know not all of them do that! Would love some feedback with people who really love their heart rate monitor! :)

I bought a polar ft4 for around $60. Works well for me.

The Polar FT4 is under $100. The FT7 is a tad over that, but not much.

I have a Polar FT4 and I love it. It seems to work a little better during cardio workouts than the fitbit. The Polar comes with a chest strap for more accurate readings. I've also noticed that a lot of the machines at the gym wirelessly connect to my chest strap so the information is displayed on the workout machine. The fitbit seems to be more of a step/calorie/sleep tracker. The Polar tracks calories burned, but does not let you enter calorie intake.

Just replaced my Polar FT4 with ANOTHER FT4 after the strap of my previous one broke (after 4 years of use.) Highly recommend it.
