I never feel satisfied

I eat all of my cals (including my exersize cals) and I feel full, but I never really feel satisfied anymore. I try and switch up the foods I eat so that I don't get bored, but I'm still not satisfied.
Anyone else feel this way? If so, how did/do you fix it?
Thanks!

Not that I have been at this very long. But I do a lot of single bites of all the foods I love. I have a scale and I weigh it to log it. So I still get a taste of all kinds of good things but I just don't go crazy eating too much. Of course, those "one bite"s add up fast.0

Redefine satisfied. This may help. Satisfied means not hungry.0

I finish my meal and I don't say "wow, that food was amazing." Instead, I say "oh, I feel full. The food tasted good, but I didn't love what I ate."
I don't know if that helps clear things up.
I do have soup, pudding and rice cakes in my rotation of foods too.0 -
I found that my joy of food came back when I started actually cooking. I began by subscribing to Cooking Light magazine, which has great tasting recipes and also helped me understand what "healthy" cooking entails. I've learned enough to be able to branch out to "regular" cookbooks and look at the ingredient list to know whether it's healthy and if not, how I can change it. I cook what I know I'll enjoy and know enough to keep in line with my goals. It takes more time, but it's so much more satisfying to make something I like, rather than make do with what I don't get excited about. I always make more than enough to have leftovers for lunch the next day or freeze.0

I think the "wow, that food was amazing" is for special occasions. Otherwise, I would eat pizza, spinach/artichoke dip, and chocolate cake every day.0 -
I find that instead of just cooking an egg , boring.........I saute onions , green peppers, and sliced fresh mushrooms in a teaspoon or smart balance margarine , and pour the egg over the top and stir it up a little and then cook until egg is done. You can add some garlic and pepper or if you like salsa. When I bake my chicken breasts I top them with garlic powder and parsley, cook up some wild rice , or 7grains spaghetti and I do the same with it , add it to the sauteed onions, green pepper and mushrooms. Just start looking up some different recipes and experiment, the onions and peppers and mushroom are very low in calories and taste good and a little more filling. Then I have sugar free jello, 10 calories and fat free whip cream, low in calories and sometimes slice a banana or apple in with it. Hope it gives you some ideas to say, wow that taste good.:drinker:0

it may be just because you are dieting. I know I get tired of thinking about every single thing I eat, just stick it out, once you get to the point of maintaining you will love it agian.0

I know what you are saying. For everyday, I try to find low cal, healthy ways to prepare my favorite foods, but I also think it's totally fine to give yourself one free day a week. That way, you able to satisfy your cravings so you won't feel deprived and it gives you something to look forward to throughout the week. Just make sure you keep up your exercise and healthy eating every other day. I do this almost every week, and it works out fine.0
