Are you insane for insanity?

I am thinking of doing the Insanity 60 day challange. It looks hard and very intimidating but I am SO ready for the challenge. I'm going to try to talk my hubby into doing it with me. We are planning on going to the beach in July and we are both in desperate need of getting our sexy beach bodies back.

Have you taken the Insanity challenge? If so, brag a little and share your results. I'd  to see your before and after pics.

I have heard great results from many. I am trying to get bikini ready in 60days as welll. I certainly can not do jumping due to knee problems. I would love to hear others results!

I just started and I LOVE it. When I work out, if I am not sweating, breathing hard, and practically unable to stand, I feel like it isn't worth it. I know it is, but I like to feel that way when I am done. It is intense, and insane!

I've been doing it for a week now with my boyfriend & I can already notice a difference in several things like how I look, feel & how after only one week I don't sweat as much as the first day :)

I'd def recommend doing it :)

I'm going to start this on Monday...Soooo excited! We're heading to Thailand mid July and I really want that Jennifer Aniston Just Go With It moment...there where they are at the waterfall and she strips down to her bikini and the guys are in awe because they didn't realise how hot she really is?:blushing: We're heading into winter here in South Africa, so getting up to train will be a challenge in it's own, but at least I've got good motivation - let's hope that will suffice!

Insanity is really worth it! I'm into my 3rd week now and I can definitely notice a difference. I tried a 90 day exercise program that didn't even touch what this program did for me. Your mood and spirits lift right up after completing each day. I look forward to my workout each day because of the difficulty and the challenge of it. Love it!!

I completed my 3rd day last night and WOW... I love it but by 20 minutes into it, I am begging for the time to be up. My goal at this time is to do 60 days... most people that I know gave up after 3 weeks.

I'm currently doing insanity...I'm in week 4. I have knee problems but I just modify the squat jumps. I would recommend doing it. It's only about 40min a day 6x a week and it goes by so fast. When you are done you will feel so good about yourself. I say go for it! Good luck!

I would LOVE to do this workout! I have been reading so much about it and glad to see some fellow MFPs using it and giving good feedback. I plan on ordering it this week and get started for my "beach body" for the summer. Also, will be great to use in the winter to chase the winter blues and stay fit and healthy! Thanks for posting Insanity!

WIth doing Insanity you should up your calories because the workouts are so intense but if you can't eat 2000 a day don't push yourself to. The way I look at it as long as your full and you are getting close to the amount you should be fine! Persoanlly I couldn't eat 2000 calories if I tried, before starting Insanity I could but now I think my stomach has gotten smaller
  • I'm starting Insanity Round 4 on Monday :drinker:
  • AHHHH!!!! I totally LOVE INSANITY!! I started this past monday 5/13/12 with a friend and we absolutely love it...I've never ever sweated so much doing a workout ever! I've lost 3lbs so far and tho it may be water wt it's water thats not on me! lol! I wanted to do something different and drastic because I want/need some drastic results...I def recommend!!
  • I did this a while ago between my freshman and sophomore year in high school. Instead of losing, I tried to gain muscle to get bigger for football and I had great success. This is really a great program and can help you with whatever kind of weight management you are looking for.

I'm on week 5 and i definitely love it. I hate it when I'm doing it, but as soon as it's over and done with....I'm very happy that I did it. This week is recovery week, but boy is it a good workout. I've lost maybe about 5-10lbs and countless inches..but I do notice that I'm much stronger than when I first started it. Do it and you'll be happy that you did:smile:
  • I am 2 1/2 weeks into it and I love it! When I first started trying to lose weight I did Jillian and she did the 1st 40lbs but I wasnt getting any deffinetion with her Soooo I wanted more of a challege! And I sure am getting that with Insantiy but let me tell you they are hard but fun at the same time. I only have lost a little bit of weight with it but I can already tell that I am stronger and the shape of my body is changing. I tottaly recomend on doing it! ***(hint: if you dont eat right on insanity you can tell in your workouts)***
    KIM!! Good Luck!

I just done day 10 this morning and love it. I do not think I will do another program but this one as I don't think anything will come close to comparison.

I have 5 small kids and have to wake up at 4:30AM to do it. Anyone doing it can feel free to add me as a friend :)

i have a week left. my prof pic is from a few days ago. i think it was like day 50?? i started at roughly 279lbs 44 inch waist. i am at 260lbs and a 40 inch waist. Its a chore in the 2nd month to get yourself ready to go b/c its intense and takes some time, but i cant argue with the results. The NSV's i had are coming one after another also. I would usually do some distance running and cop out about at 2-3 miles. I did my workout last saturday, did some stuff around the house. Got bored decided to see how far i could run outside( i hadnt ran outside since i started insanity) on thing led to another and i just finally decided to stop at 7 miles. i was blown aways 1st bc i had never ran that far in my life and 2nd if i didnt have somewhere to go i felt like i could done another 7!

so is it worth it absolutely!
