-I'm running my first 5k in July (but since I signed up I realized it may be too easy for me, but what the heck! I'll do it then train for a 10k next!)
-Someone mentioned Bikram Yoga. I did it a few times last year and just realized I want to do it again. It's tough, but is a major calorie burn and you feel like heaven afterwards!
-Start a new training program like P90X, haven't decided which one yet (I'm almost done with Body Revolution)
-Go swimming, another thing I haven't done in awhile and would like to take up again.
Thanks for the inspiration and letting me think these out!!0 -
thnx for getting me thinking! i don't have a summer bucket list, nor a tho't-out lifetime one so i'll have to ponder. really appreciate the prod!0

I didn't make it all the way up last year during my visit there and this year I know I can it it with no problem. Also want to get into more serious lifting using NRoL. Will have to check out everyones ideas and add some more.0

About your bucket list: a half marathon isn't bad! What makes them even more tolerable is when you run with someone, regardless if you know them or not! I made a friend on the most recent half marathon I ran and it was fun.
My Summer Bucket List:
More Zumba
Attend Summer Speedwork Sessions (on Thursdays)
Run more State Parks (the hills will help with training!)
Birkam Yoga - once a week
Try Crossfit
Rock climbing
Run stairs at the school I work at
Basically I want to get in 3 workouts a day. This fall I am running 3 half marathons--possibly 4 and I am totally stoked. I think once I finish 3 in 2 months, I will be ready for a full.0 -
- ZUMBA 2x a week
-train and finish 2nd half marathon
-do 4 more 5k runs this year (at least one being under 40min)
-rock climbing (indoors)
-ziplining
-get a bike
a lot to work on!:bigsmile:0 -
Leg strength training to climb a 14er this fall
Bike the KATY trail
Attend a paddleboard/kayak yoga worskshop0 -
I'm really thinking about running a 100 mile week, just to see how it feels.0
