New to using whey protein. Questions.

So I've lost 83 lbs and have just a few more to go. But I'm pretty much at the point where I need to up my protein intake and try to build back some muscle mass that I have lost. I purchased some whey protein to help up my protein intake daily. I workout every morning before work 4 to 5 days a week doing some strength training and cardio. I try to do cardio every evening. (basketball twice a week) So I guess my questions are:
1) How should I handle my breakfast/morning workout? I"m thinking I'm gonna try to eat a couple eggs every morning pre-workout. And then right after my workout is done drink a whey shake. That's just what I have in mind so feel free to chime in on that.
2) I usually get my cardio (long distance running/basketball) in pretty late in the evening so...I'm wondering if I should even take whey with cardio workouts. And if so, before or after?

I drink whey upon waking about an hr before my morning workout and drink chocolate milk post workout. Then I eat breakfast which is eggs about 30 mins to an hr after I've had my chocolate milk.0

Yea I'm not really in a posistion to cook post workout. I get up. Eat breakfast. Go to the gym and workout. Then go straight to work from there.0

I work out in the morning fasted, and then have a whey shake with a banana and some powdered peanut butter mixed in afterwards. I also have some Greek yogurt and granola for breakfast on most days after the shake. That gets me around 70-75g of protein after my workout.
In the evening, I've taken to drinking a casein shake before bed. Casein is supposed to take longer to digest than whey, so it helps keep me from being starving in the morning when I get up and go workout.0 -
