Hey there - I have seen a lot of people asking for ideas for low cal foods, snacks etc. That's great, but sometimes it's hard to visualize something, and therefore it may not sound all that great or appealing, or maybe just 'OK"...

I'm not sure if there has been a post like this before, but, I have found some staples that I find pretty darn delicious - filling and low calorie. Lately here's a couple I enjoy, with the calories posted:

Black Bean cheeseburger with a HUGE salad - :) including light feta and light blue cheese dressing - YUM! 461 Calories - Dinner:

Turkey Feta Pita with tomatoes and miracle whip light: - lunch - 272 calories - i usually add a bag of Veggie Straws (YUM) for 130 cals too, so

Fingers crossed the pics turn out ok, but if not, I'll keep trying to get them to look good.

Let's see some other pics of your low cal meals!

Edited to add - I KNOW that black bean burger sandwich looks small, but it's NOT. The salad is just huge - that is an 8 3/4 cup bowl :) good thing salad is low cal! and it was SOOOO good.. Bolthouse Farms makes a yogurt blue cheese dressing 35 cals for 2 tablespoons, to DIE for (only a little - as it's strong and a little goes a long way) 2 tablespoons in a container, shook it up like crazy just enough to coat all that lettuce, and it was wonderful. :)

Two of my absolute favorites would have to be 12 oz of shrimp in five spice with some sesame seeds and green beans, about 530 calories

    QKZIzl.jpg

And a salsa chicken salad, it's about 720 calories for the whole plate

Both portions are ginormous and are my go to's when I want to feel absolute stuffed without feeling guilty!
