This looks GOOD. I have never tried protein shakes before, but I just may try this one!

That looks super yummy! I drink a protein shake for breakfast everyday since that is my busy time of day. I usually mix a scoop of sugar free instant cappuccino powder into my chocolate shake. It tastes like an iced mocha coffee!

I was pretty skeptical about the cottage cheese, but the blogger said it was good. Gotta try it :)

This looks delish! I have a dairy allergy, though - anyone have an idea on how to modify this? Or have a recipe that's dairy free?

I have tried another recipe on this site using cottage cheese and it was super yummy. My ninja chopped it up well and it wasn't chunky it was very smooth!

I made this for breakfast this morning and it is AMAZING!!!!! I didn't add the stevia or any other sweetener and it was plenty sweet for my taste.
  • If you have a good blender, you won't know the cottage cheese in there. The shakes are very smooth. Cottage cheese is a great source of protein and much cheaper than protein powders per serving.

I have made a shake similar. I agree, you dont even taste the cottage cheese. Great smooth texture to the shake. But what I like even more is either plain greek yogurt or even better...Carb Master Vanilla Yogurt. Makes a great shake. Here is how I make mine:

-fill magic bullet cup almost half full with crushed ice
    -1 scoop chocolate protein powder
    - 2 egg whites from carton
-1 tbsp hersheys special dark cocoa
    - 1 vanilla carb master yogurt
-1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla or chocolate almond milk
    -a few tbsp water

YUM. (you can add truvia if needed)
