Medifast alternative experiment

I started medifast last July and lost almost 70lbs in less than 4 months. I was ecstatic with the results. I was a size 20/22 and went down to a 14/16. Right around thanksgiving, i could no longer afford medifast. To my surprise i only gained back 20lbs, resulting with me in a size 16/18, depending on the stretch of the jean.
Now I'm trying to figure out a way to mimic medifast, with or without the same results, with a budget. So I came up with a little plan, and need feedback of any kind.
I figure to mimic the 5 and 1 plan, I can just have low cal fat free yogurts, puddings and bars, and have fresh fruits or veggies for my 5 snacks. And keep the lean and green meals the same. I know i won't get all the vitamins and protein I was getting with medifast, so I thought i could take a multivitamin of some sort. Right now I'm taking Wal-marts equate version of One-a-Day Weight Smart. Which seems to be helping in the energy department.
Today is my first day trying out the experiment. When I was on medifast I didn't exercise, but i feel I should add 30 mins a few times a week for the flubber.
Any suggestions?

I'm trying something similar with mostly low carb foods that are in the same calorie range. I'm just getting started this week. How's it been going for you?0

How are your alternative plans going? I'm planning to try something similar and just wanted to know how it worked for others.0

:flowerforyou: I need protein, so I have a slice of cheese twice a day- that is under 100 calories. Oatmeal is 110 calories and yogurt is under 100 calories. Kroger sells a protein shake in their health food/diet section that is affordable and high in protein. I personally tried the Whey Protein and I did not like it. Matter of personal taste. Salad and tuna, chicken or some kind of protein would be good. Good luck. It is hard to find foods that fit in the calorie count, but once you do, it works.0
