haemochromatosis / high Iron levels

Hi, does anyone on here have haemochromatosis? ( high iron levels ) I would like to touch base with them, I have just found out I am a carrier for haemochromatosis....... Many Thanks

    Hi,
    My Dad has haemochromatosis. I don't know if I am a carrier but if you are wondering about treatment my Dad donates blood frequently... and that is considered his "treatment" or bloodletting. He also avoids high iron foods. I on the other hand take iron supplements because I am anemic! irony at it's best!
