Change isn't always a good thing ....

I have been doing 30DS shred for 12 days now. I talked myself into weighing and measuring this morning. I am UP 1.5 lbs and 1 inch in my lower stomach, nothing else has changed. I am still sticking to MFP plan of 1200 calories a day and ever other day or so I will eat and extra 150-200 calories that I gained from the workout that day. It's hard to tell if I see results beyond the number because I see myself everyday ... I dont want to get frustrated but its kinda hard when I feel like I am moving backwards.
Some background info. I am about 5'5 and started at 133lb with a goal of 118. I hit 121 about 4 weeks ago and stayed there until this week when I gained 1.5lbs. I use about 60 calories on breakfast 200-300 on lunch 100-200 on snacks and the rest on dinner. I RARELY drink soft drinks and when I do I log them. I drink milos splenda tea and water. I try to be strict with my logging and if I can not find something I ate I will log the closet thing I can find. For ex. I love the side order of cheese fries at a local restaurant and I log it as outback.
Does anyone have any advice for me?! I had hoped to reach my goal by now and strictly focus on toning!

I don't think you are eating enough. Find out what your BMR is and go from there. I am 5'3 and my BMR is around 1628 (something like that). So, I eat that amount and usually try to eat my exercise calories as well to net my BMR.0

But since I am still trying to lose some weight don't I need to take in less calories than my BMR?0 -
Maybe if you were trying to lose weight while in a coma!
BMR is the number of calories you would need to eat just to sustain life. Things like getting out of bed, typing, working, taking care of the kids all burn calories and are part of your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure).
Also, with so little left to lose, you should probably up your deficit to about 250 calories for a .5 lb loss a week and concentrate more on strength training (which it looks like you're trying to do with 30D Shred.0 -

LOL ok I'll try to up my calories some. I was just doing what MFP told me to, it was working so I figured it would continue. I'll up my calories for a week and see what happens. THANKS0 -

There is some kind of disconnect between BMR calculators and what it actually takes to merely sustain life. (implying you will starting dying and have organ failure if you don't eat your supposed BMR).0 -
I should know more about his since I studied some nutrition in college but I dont .... My BMR is 1650 I was "allowed" 1200 by MFP. I manually upped it to 1400. We shall see what happens. Just trying to decide if this will be enough including my daily workout ....0
