Uggh! I hate the week before and the week of my period. My clothes are too tight and I'm so full of water weight I can almost feel myself sloshing around!

I also feel like I look way bigger than I do off my period and it's depressing :(

Rant over.

I'm struggling with the same thing right now. I lost ~7 pounds in about 2 weeks, then PMS and my period hit. It felt like all the progress I saw in the mirror was erased. My clothes were tight, I was bloated, and my stomach and sides feel all soft and gooey and puffed out.
The worst part is, I've also hit a huge plateau. My weight has only budged .2 pounds in a week, which is so discouraging. I was hoping I'd lose at a fast rate for longer, since I'm just starting this weight loss journey and have about 20 pounds to go. I'd rather not fight tooth and nail for 20 pounds at a rate of .2 pounds at a time.
I just feel like every month it's going to be 2 good weeks and 2 bad weeks, thanks to my period! :(

Me too. Two good weeks, two bad weeks. I've heard that exercising more the week before helps and makes up for feeling too crappy to workout the first few days. I do know that if you keep up what you do the two good weeks as best you can, it will show after your bad two weeks are over. Last month I had a 3pound loss right after.
  • I only ever have trouble the week of my period, and I skip most of my periods, hahaha. My boyfriend makes me have a period every 3 months though and this is that month! I only lost 0.4lbs this week because of my period, but I'm excited to see the numbers drop (hopefully) after this week too :). I hate the feeling I get when I'm on my period, but I feel so much better now that I've worked out today, so maybe you could go workout and that could make you feel a bit better?
