Men Who Cut Their Own Hair

My boyfriend and I have our 3 year anniversary coming up next month and he's been asking for a new set of hair clippers. What are your recommendations? He usually balds his head on the back and sides and leaves little hair on top. He said he wants Oster but I notice Andis has better reviews. There's so many out there I can't decide. Need help!

I've used Oster for many years, with no problem. Then again, my needs are pretty simple; every hair cut is like being in Basic Training again.

I don't know but hang onto this guy. My husband and I have three little boys and I have had to learn to cut hair and I'm not all that good at it. You will never face this trauma. ;)

Get him the brand he prefers :). Lol, on a weird not really on topic note, I used to use Oster clippers on my horses for competitions, and they seemed to work great. :P

on the money =) It's good you did some research and try to find him something that might be better, but its always safe to just get the dude what he wants.

Get him Andis Masters. It has 5 built in settings. Lowest is 000 (SUPER short) and the highest is 1 (1/8 inch)... he can use it to fade himself and if he likes he can get guards for it if he wants his hair on top longer than a 1.

I went to barber school and these are my favorite clippers.

You could also get him some Andis T-Edgers if he likes to do his own lineups.

The lil lever on the side adjusts the length.
