Is it possible to lose inches this fast?

I feel like this sounds too good to be true.
About a month ago I started working out every night and lost 2 inches in a week. Then my fiance' bought POWER90, and since then, in 2 1/2 WEEKS, I have lost another 4 inches in my waist and 3 total on my hips.
SO according to my measurements I have lost 6 inches around my waist and 3 in my hips.. Seems like a lot. I am SOOO happy with it, and every time I look in the mirror I feel like I see a huge difference, but it almost sounds too good to be true. Also have lost 8.4 pounds in a little over 3 weeks as well.

It's definitely possible, but just to be sure, how are your pants fitting? If they are getting looser, it's actually happening. If not, then you are probably just not measuring in exactly the same place. Not trying to be a downer, but I like to give real life advice Either way, 8.4 lbs in under a month is pretty impressive. You're doing great!!0

Alyssa, this is what was discouraging to you before when everyone else was losing weight and you were trying to find what works for YOU. Glad to here that you did, Keep up the great work. As you can see, its paying off!! Its ok to feel good!!0

It not only is possible, but is common when first starting an exercise or diet routine. It's part of the reason why "fad diets" or exercises gain traction. You will see results quickly in any exercise or diet routine. The drastic changes will slow as your body gets used to the new routine. Don't get discouraged. It is your body's way of telling you that it is adjusting to this new lifestyle change. The key difference is that with quality diet and exercise, you will be in better shape to maintain your weight loss, rather than gaining it all back once you stop a fad diet or exercise.0
