Do I need to eat ALL my calories?

Sometimes I have found that I have calories remaining at the end of the day, but since it's usually late (I don't like to eat past 9pm if I can help it) I don't eat anything else. How important is it to eat all your allotted calories for the day?
Also, I do a lot of walking and standing throughout the whole day, but I am not positive on how many cals I am burning by this. I am guesstimating right now, so for all I know I could be burning way more than I think I am. Is there any type of exercise equipment that might help me find a more accurate calculation of calories burned? (i.e. a pedometer?)

YES YES YES YES YES! Absolutely. I work at Curves for Women and they have devolped many lab tests that have studied what happens to your metabolism over time if you deplete your body of calories by TOO much. Eventually, you will never be able to eat normal without gaining weight. Make SURE you eat your calories. It is very important!!0

A lot of people use the bodybugg to help them see how many calories they burn ALL DAY. It's rather spendy though. I personally use the Polar F6 Heart Rate Monitor to see what I am burning with exercise, and I love it! There are several posts on the threads here about both devices. Good luck!

Hey,
it is very important to eat the calories and know exactly what you are burning. I did not for a large part of my weight loss and it became very serious and I was even anorexic due to burning all the nutrition that I took in and having nothing left to substain my body. I had to do the bodybugg and this way I know exactly what is happening and what I need to eat to keep me healthy now. I found it to be great even though it may be a little expensive it is worth it and you can get great deals for them on ebay. God Bless, brenda0
