Bad Day.

I ate so much today. I've been doing so well and then today - KABLOWIE! Pizza... popcorn...ranch dressing...
I had already gone over my calories by 600 and then tonight I got a severe case of the munchies (eggs, cereal, etc, etc...) for a grand total of over 1,000 calories past my daily goal!
I can't even fathom how much exercise that would take to burn off.
Why do I do this? Why is it every so often I just want to keep putting food in my mouth even though I have no calories left?
You know what's hard too? Is I only get 1350 calories a day and my fiance gets 2500. 2500!!! He eats my daily total for lunch... and still has calories to spare. He tells me about them too. It makes me a little upset.
Arg. I need help. Or a hug. Maybe both.  :frown:
Thanks for the venting space.

Why does this have to be so darn hard? I guess it makes sense that we're hungry since we're eating below our maintenance calories, which means we're eating less than our bodies need right now...So we should probably give ourselves lots of credit for the days we do well and don't go over our calories.
Tomorrow's a new day, so here's to having a better day. :drinker:0 -
Hey, you are SO not alone. This is the third day in a row that I have completely lost control. I wish it was as easy as stopping at a certain calorie limit... but it's so much harder than that. And I totally understand the frustration that your fiance gets to eat so much. I have 5 roommates that can eat WHATEVER they want and not gain an ounce. Why is life so unfair?! It's like, I'll eat perfectly for two weeks and then totally ruin it in less than an hour.
I guess I'm not feeling too encouraged myself right now, I just wanted you to know that you're not alone. But I do know that we can accept the mistakes we made today and make tomorrow a better day. Getting back on the wagon after a horrible day... or two or three... is SO hard, but so worth it. So let's make tomorrow a good day! We can do this!0 -
Hang in there! My husband is the same way - he can eat anything and keep his shape! I am so envy! I sit on the couch either eating my 100 calorie popcorn snack when he eats and drinks whatever he wants. I cant even drink a regular coke when he drinks beer and eat whatever! Its just look fair, There will be bad days, just jump back on and keep going. I am much bigger so I can have 1800 a day but I have recently learned that the more you lose the lower your calorie count will go! That just doesnt seem fair does it. My eating habits have changed so on some GOOD days I still have calories leftover but when it comes time to eat out or have a weekend meal I always go over! And a little reminder - NEVER HIT A BUFFET BAR! Danger! Hang in there girl - your determination will be worth it in the end!0

Hey u r not alone women and men burn calories different a men burns up to3x more calories then we do in a whole day. And they lose weight faster then use. thats wahy they can eat more calories then use. And ask ur hubby to help u and dont feel bad my hubby is a basketball player he is ripped he has a 6pack muscles everywhere he does more exercise then i do in a week. And yes i get mad at my own hubby for being so fit but u know what he does instead of him telling me about it he includs me in his worksouts and he helps me cause he know i'm easily frustrate. So keep going and we all have bad days long as u dont let it become a every day thing ur ok and u can burn those extra cal off buy getting on a elpcal for 85mins and u'll burn it off0

Let's trade hubbies.
Haha - Just kidding!
But thanks everyone for commiserating. I know it's not easy for anyone, and you're right - we should be proud no matter how we may slip up.
It is a brand new day! *sunshine*0
