Resistance Bands...Yes Or No?

I can't carry weights in my truck because, well, it's weight. I am thinking about starting a resistance band routine for toning and strength training. Are they worth the money? Any suggestions? I've been looking at the Gold's Gym stuff. Worth it? Not?

I have several of various "weights" that I use when I travel and/or can't get to the gym. You will be amazed at the number of exercises that you can do with these. Don't pay a fortune for them. You may also want to add a jump rope.0

Cool. I'll pick up a set then. I was looking at the choices today. Any suggestions? I am not exactly weak so what resistance should I look for? Heavy, Extra Heavy, etc...? I can easily lift 100+ lbs.
I am more interested in muscle tone than am I am in bulk if that helps in advising.0 -
Resistance bands are great especially when you travel, I always take mine in my suitcase. I wouldn't spend a lot on them either, I think mine cost 11 bucks at Target.0
