seriously need guidance. Need your opinion.

i am so depressed from being so fat, and it makes me have low self esteem. And i feel like my weight holds me back from being happy. i am still wearing some of my maternity clothes. I hate myself because of being fat i look in the mirror and cry. When will I ever be skinny again? What am i doing wrong? Please look at my diary and tell me, but last week we were on vacation so it wasnt normal.

First off, smile. You are beautiful, no matter your size. Anyone who says otherwise is just dumb.
Secondly, just make sure you eat healthy and are staying active. (Yes I know, cliche advice, but it really does work.) Also, keep in mind that this will not happen overnight! I stuck a notecard on my mirror that say's Smile, you are beautiful. It helps me every day. I saw a statistic that said, "It takes 4 weeks for you to notice a difference, 8 for friends and family, and 12 for the rest of the world." DO NOT GIVE UP! Feel free to add me if you'd like.0 -

.......5'6 and i hate to say this but 180.8 pounds. I was 220 while pregnant and my lowest weight was 135.0 -

If your profile pic is what you look like right now, you are definitely NOT fat. You're a beautiful woman! You're also a young mom who's probably busy with the kids and maybe not getting much sleep? Are you aware of how important sleep is in the weight loss equation? Are you getting a good 8 hours? If not it can affect your mood and many other mental and physical processes, including weight control.
We are complex creations and there can be so many variables as to what will and won't work for us. Pregnancy can totally change your endocrine system, thyroid function, etc, and things don't all change right back after giving birth. I also had 2 babies by the time I was your age and remember being less than thrilled with some things ;-)
But it does get better, especially if you can figure out what it is your body really needs. It may be more/different exercise, different food choices, more sleep, stress relief of some sort, or other things to help you get where you want to be. I've learned to approach this from a more scientific point of view over the years. Have patience, but if 6 months go by and you don't see at least some progress, look at some different approaches.0 -
You are down 40 pounds from when you were pregnant. So you're almost half way to 135. Stop looking at what you're not and realize that what you've already accomplished is nothing short of amazing. Oh, and, beauty is measured by the heart, not the mirror.
There's more people out here who get that than you think. And if someone will only accept you for your looks, then you need that person in your life like you need a tooth ache. Have a nice day!0 -
