I'm in!!! Last time I weighed (about a week ago), I was 210. It's been a rough week for me - I've been stressed out studying for a big exam and got sick - I fell off the wagon, so I'm scared to weigh again. I think I'm going to wait until next week to weigh in.
I'm going on a trip on November 20th, and want to be down to at least 200 by then. That's 7 weeks away - I think 10 lbs in 7 weeks is very conservative. I'm going to shoot for 204 by the end of October, and then 4 more lbs by by November 20th. I'll be pleasantly surprised if I lose more than this!
Starting weight: 210
End of October goal: 204
November 20 goal: 200
February 1 goal: 190
(FYI - this is the first time I've put these numbers down in writing in a public place!)
So...I weighed myself this morning because I just had to see how much weight I had gained over my little "break" and I'm back at 212. :grumble: Dang it! Oh well, let's use 212 as my starting weight and keep it real! :laugh: But I'm still keeping my goals the same!! This week is a new week! :flowerforyou:
Oh - and I had 12 glasses of water yesterday to try to flush all the toxic food out of my system!!0 -

How is your weekend starting out? I only got 3 hours of sleep last night -- I was up all night coughing! I want to go on a walk today, but I don't know if that is in the cards...I can barely breathe just sitting here! :grumble:
Good attitude, lmr9! It's a new week, a clean slate! I have been a little "sinful" this past week too, so, I need to get my eating back on track as well!0 -

Any of you guys ever had puppy chow... you know, the really sweet homemade chex mix? Last night I did the math and figured out how many calories are in it... I knew it was bad but I didn't expect my recipe to contain 910 calories per CUP!!! EEEEEEEEK!!!0 -

Thats great:drinker: It always feels great to break a plateau. I am feeling a little better and I did manage to get in 15 minutes of excersice yesturday.

Any of you guys ever had puppy chow... you know, the really sweet homemade chex mix? Last night I did the math and figured out how many calories are in it... I knew it was bad but I didn't expect my recipe to contain 910 calories per CUP!!! EEEEEEEEK!!!

I did 35 min. yesterday- but blew it cause my daughter wanted Taco Bell. I never know what to order there, so I end up in a hurry and just pick something.. Usually not healthy or really even tasty.. I stayed under on calories but went over on fat -which is not good. I will try to get 30 mins. today - but gotta do housework first...0

We are reporting our minutes we worked out every day, as well as how many cups of water we had.
Weigh in's are on Fridays.

I am getting the cold right now so I am not doing good on the fat smash diet. This diet might not be for me.0 -
Workout: 30 minutes cardio, 20 minutes strength training.
Glasses of water: 2 so far.
Today I tried the Lean Cuisine Roasted Chicken Garlic pizza for lunch and it was REALLY good! And only 270 calories for 1/4 of the pizza! Definitely recommend it!0 -

45 min bike with my family. Check on water but I went to a fair in a town over and had some bbq - but still ok on calories for the day

laughingfox - sorry you are not feeling well, but it is great that you walked. The breathing could be if you are having a change in weather. That happened to me this past week when we went from 100 to 60

HI! I am new to this website and could use a motivational group to join! My weight has been steadily climbing since I graduated college and it's time to put an end to that.
I went to a party last night and chowed down on brownies and cheetos - not good. Hopefully this website and this group will keep me more accountable for what I eat!
First, goal - stop eating out every day for lunch!0 -
I would also like to join. Now that 2 of my kids are back in school, and it's not as hectic anymore, I need to get back into exercising everyday. My current weight is 143, and my end of October goal is 139 (hopefully get out of the 140's). My biggest downfall is the glasses of wine in the evening, so hopefully I can get into an exercise routine again, and not have more than 1 glass. Good luck everyone.0

I dont think I did too well yesterday on calories. Had a few drinks with some friends! Yikes!! Trying to get back on track today and tomorrow completely back on track. Can't believe October is going to fast already!0
