I saw them on TV, and then I watched the South Park episode on them. I can never take them seriously ever again.

^^^THIS! Even if I thought they were worthwhile before (which I didn't), the South Park episode enhanced my initial "are they doing what I think they're doing?" reaction. IMO: don't do it.

OMG! never heard of it before, thought it was an alternative to slimfast or something so went on line and found the advert on You Tube! I wouldn't be able to use it for laughing, so unless laughing burns up more calories than a normal workout, think I will stick with a bit of Rosemary Connelly!

I've just seen what docktorfokse posted to you, I think that just about sums it up! LOL :-0)

    I reiterate my earlier point.

Never tried it. Seems gimmicky. Would not waste my time/money on it.

I tried it, but felt silly using it after all of the spoofs on the internet about the product. I think regular weight will do the same thing.

Unless somebody holds a doctorate in exercise science or nutrition, I don't hold a GP's opinion on exercise in high regard. GP's don't care as long as you exercise and then there's the real world where crap like a Shakeweights are a friggin' joke. If those things were so good and effective don't you think you'd have pro athletes just sitting around their house and stuff holding those things all the time to build their arms instead of spending hours a week in the gym? If it looks too good to be true it probably is, especially when it comes to diet and exercise gimmicks.
