Hi everyone!
I have been on the overweight rollercoaster my whole life. Over the last 2 years, I have recycled the same 50-70lbs. At my heaviest point, I was 227lbs. I was actually "ok" with the way I looked, but the excess weight was causing problems with my reproductive system. I started working out and changed my diet! Within 8 months, I had dropped down to 155lbs!!! I was happy, healthy and looking great! BUT, since September of last year (2011), I've gained 30lbs back. I now weigh 185 and I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and high cholesterol. It seems like every pound that I've gained is located in my tummy (visceral fat) and is diminshing my health. I'm 28 with no children. I need to change my lifestyle and get healthy. I'm aiming for a 20-25lb weight loss, and of course, I would like to see my blood pressure and cholesterol improve.
Wish me luck! Weight loss is a challenging thing...I'm strong enough to admit...I can't do it on my own.

I have the exact same problem. I have been a yo yo since first starting college. At my heaviest I was 202. I lost 12 on weight watchers. Had some emotional stress and quit. Gained it all back. I tried to go for walk today and the weight this time is all in my stomach. It felt like someone had a knife in my back. I have to get this off and I am determined. Good luck to everyone and let's keep up the motivation.0
