Protein Shakes...

I just started drinking GNC's Whey Protein shakes...do you drink them every day? Even on rest days? Or just when you work out?

    It really depends on each person's preference, definitely after every workout - sometimes will have a casein shake mid-afternoon or when I'm left a few hours without a protein-rich meal, occasionally will have one in the morning after a breakfast (depends on size of my breakfast) and occasionally have a casein shake at night - so really depends on the individual.

    if you need convenient quick source of protein go for it. you body does not care where the protein comes from chicken, fish, nuts, milk, ect it all gets broken down into peptides and amino acids that repair tissue in your body.

    I have some but don't plan on having any regularly until I start doing some weight training. Right now I am just walking for exercise.
