I managed to get some pix of the eclipse earlier...the last one is a still shot from some video I took. It was pretty cool despite all of the cloud cover.

    Excellent shots! Thanks for sharing. I didn't get any pics. I just looked at the reflection through a pinhole in a piece of paper. Yours is much cooler than mine! :wink:

    I took a good long stare at the sun around 6:30 PM. For 20 minutes after, everything I looked at had little eclipses in and around it. It was magical.

    Very cool. I was afraid to use my digital because I don't have a solar filter so I tried to take a bunch of pics with a pinhole camera. The only problem now is that I'm not sure where I can develop the pics since I no longer have access to a darkroom. Thanks for posting these, they came out pretty neat.

    Thanks! I was surprised I was able to get anything...and these pix aren't as clear because I took a picture of my camera's screen with my cell phone, LOL! :)

    The eclipse begins on the West Coast at 9:05 a.m. PDT (12:05 p.m. EDT/1605 GMT) and ends on the East Coast at 4:09 p.m. EDT (2009 GMT).
