I managed to get some pix of the eclipse earlier...the last one is a still shot from some video I took. It was pretty cool despite all of the cloud cover.

Excellent shots! Thanks for sharing. I didn't get any pics. I just looked at the reflection through a pinhole in a piece of paper. Yours is much cooler than mine!0

I took a good long stare at the sun around 6:30 PM. For 20 minutes after, everything I looked at had little eclipses in and around it. It was magical.0

Very cool. I was afraid to use my digital because I don't have a solar filter so I tried to take a bunch of pics with a pinhole camera. The only problem now is that I'm not sure where I can develop the pics since I no longer have access to a darkroom. Thanks for posting these, they came out pretty neat.0

Thanks! I was surprised I was able to get anything...and these pix aren't as clear because I took a picture of my camera's screen with my cell phone, LOL!0

The eclipse begins on the West Coast at 9:05 a.m. PDT (12:05 p.m. EDT/1605 GMT) and ends on the East Coast at 4:09 p.m. EDT (2009 GMT).0

@jenilla1 since @LauraMacNCheese didn't come back will you stop by and tell us your opinion on the eclipse? Did you pony up for some glasses this time or use the pinhole method again?0 -

I took pictures on my phone through my eclipse glasses. And my phone didn't blow up or anything.1 -
