I know a lot of people give themselves a reward once they meet their goal and I wondering what your reward going to be? if you don't have one whats something that could motivate you to drop the weight?
When I drop 50 lbs I'm going to start my half sleeve tatt (hand drawn pic of it on my profile) but when i drop my complete 150 lbs Im buying myself a Harley Davidson ^_^

WOW those rewards are hardcore!
mine now seem a little more frivolous :blushing: but i've been dying to share my rewards with someone.
i reward myself for things i can control. so, rather than rewarding myself for losing 5 lbs, i reward myself after completing a certain workout everyday for a week, or getting a certain time on a run. also, most of my rewards are for short term goals.
this week, i am challenging myself to burn off 1000 cals (not deficit, but from exercise alone) per day. if i do this for 6 days (7th is a rest day) straight, i am going to buy myself a bikini!
other days, when i really don't feel like working out but i workout anyway, i reward myself with a nice bubble bath with josh groan singing in the background <== i am such a girl.0 -
GW1 - 135: new purse
GW2 - 130: new jeans and top
GW3 - 125: first bikini EVER!
UGW - 120: surprise from my husband! ^_^
My husband actually convinced me to do a reward system, I thought that it was like a bribe to myself lol. but lo and behold it's actually serving as some good motivation to keep me going.
Especially my UGW!0 -
I have no idea yet...
I have a bad habit of buying gadgets that have to do with weightloss and fitness along the way, but it keeps my "eye on the prize" and motivated to keep going. I'm such an instant gratification person and compulsive. :yawn:0 -
Another nose piercing. Another tattoo. And, at the end (or near it), cut all my hair off. I've always wanted to, but my face is too round0

Ultimate goal size, I'll take a trip to a pacific island and hang out in a bikini!0

when I lose 10kg total (so close!) I'm seeing a PT for 14 sessions (pay for 12, get 2 free). I'm a student so my wallet will hate me for this but I really want to see a trainer!0

loving the variety in the goals0

My weight loss will be my reward, plus being able to ride a bike, and not ache anymore.0

A whole New Wardrobe!! Because my old one will be WAY too big. Most of it is too big for me already but i don't want to buy too many new things until i reach my goal
I want a nice Bikki, a few pairs of great jeans, some little shorts. and a whole range of new tops.0 -
Currently I do not have a reward in mind, but after reading the variety of rewards people her have I will have a think about it...especially as my self motivation is usually short lived.0

I had 2 rewards i set for myself.
1) Ipad 3 - after 25 lbs lost (already received)
2) New computer - at 45 lbs lost (only 20 to go)0 -
I never know what my rewards will be as its my boy friend that gets them (Im so lucky ehh hehe) so far I have had the whole IRT DVD box set and 2 new pairs of shoes! He just bought me a pair for losing 50 pounds and now my 4 stone mark is coming up bless him! I dont know what I am going to reward my self with when I reach my GW. I have bought clothes along the way and now frustrted as even those ar etoo big for me lol! I have a feelign when I ge to GW I wont be happy so wondering if I should leave my reward until my UGW. I have no idea what that is at the moment. xxx0

When I get under 200 pounds - and I am sooo close it's killing me, haha- I get to begin wedding dress shopping!! Exciting!
And when I reach my UGW, I have a tattoo that I would love to get and plan on getting.
And somewhere between those two goals, I want to get my belly button pierced.0 -
some new clothes and a photo shoot to make me realize how amazing look (once i get there) i dont have mini-goal rewards. maybe i should. i just pick up a new pair of pants now and then or a new belt so that something in my closet actually fits!0

Hmmm. Haven't thought of a goal reward. Can't think of anything offhand. Just 4 lbs away from reaching my goal now. I guess reaching that goal is reward enough in a way and also when I reach it will be setting new fitness goals. No rest for the wicked
Would be no harm in giving myself a little reward but going out shopping for clothes doesn't quite do it for me0
