I just created a 'workout' playlist last week for when I go to the gym. Some of the songs I've got on there include:
- FUN - we are young
- David Guetta - Titanium
- Alex Gaudino - Destination Calabria
- Alexandra Stan - mr Saxobeat
- Nicki Minaj - superbass
- The Gossip - standing in the way of control
- Kanye West - stronger
- Alanis Morissette - you oughta know
I agree, you have to keep it fresh otherwise it gets boring so I'll be checking back to see what other suggestions people have0 -

I love dancey music when working out! Heres a few of my faves:
C’mon (Catch ‘em by surprise) – Tiesto vs Diplo featuring Busta Rhymes (My favourite work out song EVER!)
Ghosts ‘n’ Stuff – Deadmau5 featuring Rob Swire
Do you like bass? - Sidney Samson and The Flexican
THE (The Hardest Ever) – will.i.am
Whose wearing the cap – Sander Van Doorn with laidback luke

This one may sound funny but...
I just bought the new Adam Lambert CD yesterday and the second I played it I was like 'this is GREAT workout music!' Haven't used it for it yet since I got it last night but plan on starting today!0 -

The faster the better.
So punk music generally (pennywise, nofx, frenzal rhomb, propagandhi) or slipknot. the Fat Wreck Chords compilations have an assortment of punk music and are mostly great songs.
I found a few Florence and the Machine songs great for running to.
I also like songs with a fast chorus then a middle speed verse then a fast chorus so you can rest on the slow bit and go intense on the fast bit.
Bayside - Sick Sick Sick
Eminem - Lose Yourself
I think just songs you love are best. I can work out hard to slow songs if I like the song enough0
