Whats on your running playlist?

Options
Good morning everyone and Happy Monday! I wanted to ask the people out there that are like me and MUST have their ipod blaring fast beat songs to keep them going through their workout, What is on your running playlist?

What gets you moving? Which songs make you run longer, faster, and harder?

Here is whats on mine:

I'm too sexy, (Drop dead Fred) anyone remember those guys? It makes me smile and gets me started
Dancing with Myself, (Billy Idol) now I'm running
1985, (Bowling for Soup)
Almost, (Bowling for Soup)
Basket Case, (Green Day)
Immigrant song, (Led Zeppelin) I imagine I'm a viking while I'm running, beating down innocents that are trying to tempt me with sweets
Movie Star, (Cracker)
I want you to want me, (Letter to Cleo)
Somebody told me, (The killers)
All the small things, (Blink 182)
Follow me up to Carlow, (Young Dubliners) gotta love Irish Rock!
Back in Black, (AC DC)
Who do You love, (George Thorogood)
Viva la Vida, (Cold Play)
Ball and Chain, (Social Distortion)
Yer SO Bad, (Tom Petty)
Wouldn't it be nice, (Beach Boys) this makes me laugh..hahah, yeah it would be so much easier if we were married!!!
High School never ends, (Bowling for Soup)
We're not gonna take it, (Twisted Sister) so awesome
Talk Dirty to me, (Poison)

So there it is. Some of it is faster than others but that is what I run to. Anyone else have some ideas on what to add?

Dog Days are Over (Florence and The Machine) is my favourite running song. It starts off slow but then it kicks in and makes you want to run. The lyrics even tell you to run fast. "Run fast for your father, run fast for your mother"

I'm too sexy was by Right Said Fred (I was looking for it to add to my playlist).

Check out jogfm. It has tons and tons (and tons) of different playlists - and the songs show how many beats per minute if you're looking to keep a certain pace. The best part is it's FREE! :)

podcasts Jay and Silent Bob Get Old.

Adult content, smutty humour, stories of misspent youth - I really should be above such things but it's hilarious. Transports me somewhere else in a way music can't do.

must admit it's more of my general workout mix vs running, buuut I've taken it out a few times-

lots of Pitbull/songs featuring Pitbull... haha
    lots of David Guetta!
    Nicki Minaj - Superbass
    Cake - Love You Madly
Sean Kingston - Fire Burning on the Dance Floor
Flo Rida - Wild Ones, Good Feeling
Shakira - Rabiosa, Waka Waka, Bamboo (remix)
Say Anything - Alive with the Glory of Love

can't believe I'm blanking... hmmmm I'm sure there's more. Basically I go for things that I can dance to :)

These get me through any rough cardio session:

Egypt Central - "Over and Under", "Locked and Caged", "White Rabbit", and "You Make Me Sick". I use "Over and Under" to finish up when I want to spring for about 2 1/2 minutes to finish.

Godsmack - Basically anything from the album "Awake"

    Run DMC - "It's Tricky"

Better than Ezra - "Desperately Wanting"

Black Stone Cherry - "Lit Up" and "Crazy B1tch"

Toadies -- 'I Burn' is my buildup song -- no matter how tired I am this song ramps me up
System of a Down -- Sugar
    Lil' Wayne -- 6 Foot 7 Foot
    Eminem -- Cinderella Man

I kind of like angry, alpha-male type music when I work out. Which is pretty hilarious, considering I like slow, weepy, sad songs on any other occasion.

Amon Amarth - "With Odin On Our Side", a 2006 Swedish death metal album with lots of Viking imagery and speedy riffs. Definitel gets the heart rate up.
Daft Punk - "Alive 2007", a live concert of a bunch of mashed-up Daft Punk songs that thread together extremely well. Great for getting into the zone and meditating while running.
