I'm looking for a cheap bra (hello, Target!) that I can wear over my regular bra when I go to the gym (Don't like getting fully naked in the locker room) but will give support..also, kind of a bonus question: How do you determine which size to get? I went to Target today and none of them said they covered DD i'm a 36DD for reference.
Any recommendations are appreciated

I love my target sports bras. I believe they are Champion? They are racer back and a very soft stretchy material. I just wear mine under my scrubs at work since I head straight to the gym to change bc they are so comfy.0

How cheap is cheap? I just got a moving comfort Fiona bra on amazon.com and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. As a 38DD I have never ever in my life been able to do jumping jacks without extreme pain until I bought this bra. It was under $30 when I bought it too.
I don't wear it over another bra but it is seriously comfortable and well-fitting enough to just wear it all day long.0 -
Try going to a place like Ross, Marshalls, or TJ max. A lot of times they have the brands that they sell at department stores like Macy's or Nordstrom but for WAAAAY cheaper!! I used to be a 38DD (unfortunately when I lost weight my boobies ran away ) and I found a GREAT one in Ross that had hidden underwire and it was only like 12 bucks!0

best sport bra i ever wore is your standard T-shirt bra but x 2
Two bras works great!0 -
Sorry ladies but I saw an opportunity here: My thought that for the "cheapest" sports bra, one should perhaps consider a roll of duct tape. These can be found at the local Wal Mart for less than 2 bucks! Hope this helps! hahahahahah0

It depends on if you're looking for a high impact sports bra, or if you're going to be doing things that aren't high impact....
I just started the Insanity workout by BeachBody, and got a danskin sports bra from walmart for $12. I got 2 diff ones, and both provide NO BOUNCE! I'm a 40dd, so I understand your issue! I actually did a 'bounce test' in the fitting room too. One zips in the front, and one is a racer back that also has a bra like strap under that. They are both extremely comfortable, reasonably priced, and provide the support I need, and the no bounce for the high impact jumping around I try to do with Insanity!!
Hope this helped!0 -
I like the compression bras they sell at Target.0

I find champion ones at Ross' sometimes... or look during the sales!0

I'd suggest getting properly fitted for a sports bra at a specialist shop and then finding the same brand cheaper online or in TK Maxx. As a 36E its one area I just won't skimp on - and I agree with the person who mentioned the jumping jacks - ouch!
I always think, breasts have no muscle in them, and once the fibres in them are stretched (for example through exercise) they stay stretched. I'd rather my boobs didn't brush my knees in my 80's.. :-)0 -

Wow. Congratulations on being a special kind of unhelpful on a real question post.0 -
check out any Danskin sports bra- but get it one size smaller than you normally would buy. You can get them in a two pack for $8 in two bright colors or black and white.
If you dont have wal-mart (like here in NYC - its banned) you can go to wal-mart.com and check their active wear section - its more than just cheapie sports bras, its cheapie activewear in general. The Danskin Now line was made specifically for wal-mart.0 -
I love the Champion line at Target. Mine are the compression type (with the shiny material not the cotton) and run about $12.99/bra. I have 32DD/DDD boobs and these keep them in place!0

I have to agree with the compression bras at TARGET & I too wear mine over my regular bra.0

I second the sports bras at walmart, I particularly enjoy their halter one, it's comfy enough that I have worn it outside of the gym on occasion and it's like 12 bucks.0

I bought my sports bras from Target. I also wear a DD. I bought Champion. 2. I bought one in my size and one in a size smaller. I wear them both at the same time and the girls don't move and inch when I run.0 -
I have one that's Champion brand, I got it at Zellers (which is soon changing to Target, yay!) I do like it.
I've also gotten some cheap ones at The Bay (which would be similar to Macy*s in the States)
I also have a Nike one that I got for around $20 at the outlet store.0 -
If you have a gabriel brothers, rugged warehouse, marshalls, and or tj maxx where you are go in there. I get all my champion sports bras from the champion outlet or rugged warehouse for $8.00.0

Target is where I get all my sports bra... Champion works best for me and the price is right for my budget.0
