Isn't it ironic?
I think it's so funny how some people (my sister included) goes to extremes to make sure that her family eats the most organic possible, so much that she grows her own organic garden and owns several chickens but yet she uses artificial sweeteners in EVERYTHING. Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of going organic? Isn't the purpose of organic to mean you arent consuming any chemicals? Just seems kinda stupid to me

I love that song,,yeah Alanis!
Ok, what kind of artificial sweetener?
I use Blue Agave, although only in tea.
And wouldn't you want your children to not eat sugar?
What did your sister do to get bashed this am?0 -
That is a bit mad yes.
We all know by now that sweetners are soooo bad for you and contain poisons!
Maybe read her an article on aspartame and see if that helps her kick it.
Each to their own though!

She didn't do anything lol just a thought I had this morning and yes my children eat REAL sugar (GASP!!) in moderation. I just don't think any artificial sweetener that is altertered or chemically produced is good (splenda included) In my own personal experience any time I try ANYTHING with any of the fake sugar in it, I get a migraine with in 20 minutes of consumption. No thanks! lol0 -

And to add to Elizabeth, I ate sugar as a child and I was underweight and healthy. I didn't even need to go on a diet until I was nearly 30 and that wasn't because of sugar.0

There is this woman in my city who runs a fabulous vegan/raw cafe. The food really is delicious. She likes to promote that kind of lifestyle (almost obnoxiously), but she has these big fake boobs, and bleached out hair. To each their own, really, but I don't get it...0
