To do before your wedding day, what would it be? Looks like I'm going to be able to hit the gym the morning of my wedding and I'm starting to put together the routine I want to do.

I'd mainly do some core/body-weight stuff like push-ups, crunches, pull-ups, etc. It's going to be a long (great) day, and you don't want to be sore from going too heavy but those will get you feeling good (and usually help self-image). Plus you know... wedding night and all.

I would do a good 30 minute cardio maybe some turbo jam. Its a good cardio, lower body, upper body and core workout all at once. you will amazing the rest of the day. and will have burned some nice calories so you can enjoy your cake guilt free ;-)

Workout or no, anything I eat/drink/shoot/shotgun/chug on my wedding day or honeymoon will be guilt free =)

a 10 mile run along the shore, celebrating moving from one stage of my life to the next- but I wouldnt think of it as a workout - just a chance o fly solo and start the day beautifully, in a peaceful happy headspace and some zen you just cant buy.

I agree with Yoovie....If I was athletic prior to marrying my husband...a long run that morning would have helped so much...just let go of everything and go at your own speed!

Probably just a yoga practice -- calm my nerves and save my energy for dancing the night away.

Depends on what kind of wedding we're talking about. The traditional service followed by hours-long reception, and then your wedding night on top of that? It's already a full day; I wouldn't be doing anything strenous. I'd just be trying to reduce tension; wedding day involves a lot of nerves, even for people who think they're fine. If some exercise is your way of doing that, rock on. I'd probably just try to sit and meditate for a bit, focusing on breathing and relaxing muscle groups until it was time for the whirlwind to start.

Or you could just do what my wife and I did. Go down to city hall with a few close family members and get married at around noon, then go out to brunch afterward. Hardly any stress at all!

    STRENGTH!!

But Yoovie's idea of a nice long run sounds nice too.
