Hi. Has anyone had success with the Dukan Diet? Were you able to keep it up?

I read the book and it is all about reconditioning your eating habbits. Its basically starting your eating habbits again from scratch, but it sounds do-able. Especially once you reach the consolidation phase.

If anyone else is doing it, good luck!

    Hi there,

I have just begun the Dukan diet and am on the cruise phase and already down 13 lbs. I really like it so far. The first week of pure protein was intense but I made it through and don't miss my former eating habits. Another thing I love about the lifestyle change (I hate the word diet) is the prescription to exercise. Good luck on your venture!

    Hi!

I had success with the Dukan Diet last year (lost about 12 pounds), but unfortunately put it all back on plus a few more because I didn't continue with phases 3 and 4. I am on it again and did well with the Attack phase (lost 3.6 pounds in 5 days) but am struggling with the Cruise phase this time for some reason (several business dinners, neck pain = not wanting to exercise, blah blah blah!).

Soooo... if I can keep it up and get my butt in gear to exercise, I think it's a pretty good plan. I bought the cook book this time, so hopefully can come up with something more interesting than chicken, chicken, chicken!

    Good luck!
