going over on protein

At least 5 out of 7 days of the week i go over on my protein. When I used to track JUST calories I never noticed but now with MFP it will give a break down...I'm a sabotaging by going over? (open diary)

    I have the same problem, and also not metting my carbs goal...Any suggestions?

    right...same here with the carbs...I'm not purposely trying to avoid the carbs... just don't always get them in..

    I think going over on prtoein is okay.. I've looked at a few diaries of people that are within a few lbs of their goals and they go over a lot.. I think the main thing is to watch calories. =)

    I'm not an expert but going over on protein a little is ok. Reduces hunger and helps build muscle. Just make sure you drink enough coz it will affect your kidneys otherwise.
