New to myfitnesspal

Hello all, I am new to this site/app. I learned about it on FB and so many people said they absolutely love it. I have struggled with my weight for all of my adult life. I am a registered nurse and eat very healthy, ie. green smoothies, no meat, mostly plant-based foods. And I still struggle. I am told by my D.O. that I am very insulin resistant, despite having no diabetes. I hope to find some support here and hope that I can be helpful to others as well.
