Nursing moms out there, how do you account for the extra caloric needs?

I think it depends on how much your baby is nursing. I am nursing a toddler so I don't really count it as he gets most of his calories from solid foods. If you're nursing a newborn or young infant, you could be burning 300 to 500 calories a day from nursing.0

I'm nursing a 20 month old and I allow myself 100 calories a day as she eats all night and breastfeeds before her naptime too.0

You'll find it under foods. It adds extra calories to your daily allowance, instead of subtracting.0
