Why is there so much contradiction about this topic? Some say full body, while others say split......................?!?
What are your opinions??

Really depends on your goal and current fitness level.

    What Adam said

There is no better or worse just a difference.

From my (basic) understanding, Total body is right to start with & when your fitness level increases & your body has adapted a little to the regular strain put on it, then it is time for splits. This means you can put greater load on said bodypart & allow it more rest time :)

As others have said, it depends on your goals. For overall strength, powerlifters do full body compound workouts with barbells.
Body builders who focus on appearance tend to work on individual muscle groups separately.

Whichever one you are more likely to keep doing is the better one.

Like! No one rule, what works for you is what is right! There are plenty of fitness competitors and such who continue with the full body route, others do split.
