New to MFP-Looking for friends/support

Hi! I'm Amanda and recently joined MFP (yup I'm a newby). My husband and I found out we where expecting and I was 16 weeks when I lost my baby boy (Nov 1, 2011). Ever since my miscarriage I can't get myself motivated. I have 20+ pounds I need to lose and looking for support/friends to motivate myself. I know I can do this but it's hard especially if you feel like your on your own. I'm on everyday and log my food/excercise. Thanks for adding me if you decide to and God Bless!!

I had a similar experience. I lost a baby at 24 weeks, a little boy too. Part of the problem with getting back into weight loss was that I was depressed and it is hard to find the will to loose weight when you are depressed, even if just a little. It is worse because you may even eat more when you have emotional eating problems, which I do. Time is actually your friend. The lose will always be there, everyday thought of..but you will come to a time when you can focus more on other things that make you happy. You are not on your own in any trail you are forced to overcome. It is the human experience,.Someone has been through it too and many can relate and give true compassion. I am one....0
