Hello my name is Angela. I'm 49 and ready to reclaim control over my body.
The weight was a gift from a horrible experience with the aftermath of a car crash.
The accident was caused by an uninsured driver who ran a light. I endured two fractured cervical vertebrae and two lumbar vertebrae. In order to alleviate the pain I was enduring, an anesthesiologist administered steroids on three separate experiences. I went from 133 lbs to my current weight. I was running six miles a day back then to now having trouble walking three miles at a time. It’s been more than ten years since my transformation and now I have to begin the process of reclaiming my life of fitness.
Thankfully, one of my co-workers introduced me to this site: Myfitnesspal and I’m on my way. I’ve begun this week learning about calories. I love the ability to scan the item I’m about to eat to discover the calories in the serving size.
By this time next year, I’d like to have reached my goal.
Here goes……………..
