No gym but just as much satisfaction...

A few people on my friends list asked to see this as I mentioned I was building a bookcase, never built one before and one of the first times I got to use the tools my Dad, a carpenter, bought me at Christmas so it was good to feel close to mum n dad even though they're 120 miles away. Cheers pops I guess watching you all that time something did go in.

In short this was a really fun way of burning around 1000 calories with my HRM and didn't need weights, plus I got a shed load of sun, which here is a miracle!

Very nice! I like your little greenhouse, too. I was thinking about trying my hand at building a plyo box!

I was looking at that too n making my own home gym, pulleys are pricey though but worth it for weekend workouts i think

Not intentionally bumping my own thread but just to finish this off, installed three additional shelves, sanded and varnished and installed it then had some fun putting the books out. Easily a 1200 calorie project through all the head scratching and measuring, remeasuring forgetting and measuring again
