New in MFP

Hi guys, I'm new here and despite being halfway to reach my goal , I really need some advice to break my current plateau
I have bulky legs because I did lots of Mini-stepper everyday so atm i'm trying to get skinny legs and lose the last belly fat,
love handles and back fat. HELP ME TY

    You can't really 'spot reduce. Set a goal log in as best you can and stick to it!
  • thanks for replying :) , Ye I stopped doing the mini-stepper thing so the leg muscles goes away
    bcoz they too big, what type of exercise do you recommend, i got :
    - Slim in 6
    - Turbo Jam
    - Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred
    - P90X
    So what's the best option for my situation?
  • Hi! welcome to MFP. something that i like to do is the Jillian Michaels DVD. I've got the Ripped in 30 and the 30 Day Shred. these exercises will whoop your tail. it is based on an interval system: 3 min strength training, 2 min cardio, and 1 min of ab work. i promise you it works and you will definitely know by the 2nd day. It's not easy, but i think it will help. sometimes getting out of your comfort zone is the answer. she uses this system for the biggest loser tv series. and the DVDs are only about 10 bucks. (some are cheaper if you can find them on amazon or other sites). good luck to you and feel free to add me if you want.
  • I appreciate that Morgan TY , I've tried the Jillian one ,the first phase and I sorta went breathless by the end of it
    but I forgot to mention I can't breathe through my nose perfectly just 1 nostril is open (family problem)
    so I use my mouth to breath mostly, which I know is bad and heavy breathing it's hard since my diaphragm hurts or feels strange.
    So how many days should I do those exercises? 60 or 90?

    I currently mix up 30 day shred with ea active 2 on wii. And actually the wii does a lot of Jillian's moves. Once I get "good" per say at 30 day shred I also have No More Trouble Zones and Banish Fat Boost Metabolism than I plan on interchanging as one is more strength training and the other is more cardio. But I also prefer to work out at home as opposed to the gym. Good luck!
