I have been walking and walking but must be retaining so much fluid! Scale going up more than down. Its not what I am eating--its very discouraging!!

I know what you mean! I spent 3months busting my butt... I would lose 3 pounds, gain 2 back.. over that 3 months I only lost 6 or 7 pounds.
Then I changed my diet...lost almost 5 pounds the first week...then 1.2 pounds the second week...and this is the 3rd week, and so far I have gained back what I lost last week Hoping it is water weight, the temps around here have gone up 5-10 degrees lately.0 -
I don't know how long or how far you are walking but when I walk long distances, walk super fast or up and down hills, my muscles 'swell', I think from water retention to repair them? I dont know but I weigh more for a while and my calves will measure as much as an inch bigger! It's crazy but it goes down after a few days.
Keep walking! You get fitter with every step you take! Keep it up.0 -

I ran into this problem too, so I have been staying off the scales and just measuring. I'm loosing inches instead of pounds. I just started 4 weeks ago and I have lost 14lbs but I have lost several inches everywhere. I have gone to a size 16 to a 12. I know we are all different but try it for a week and see if you can tell. Good luck!0
