Quick frozen yogurt at home (super low cal!)

Hey guys, we were trying to think of something to help with the sweet tooth for "dessert" tonight, and I threw some stuff together and stuck it in the freezer. Surprisingly it turned out absolutely DELICIOUS!
Heres what I used:
1 large containger of Weight Watchers Vanilla Yogurt (no fat)(4 cups)
1 tub (3 cups) of Cool Whip Free (fat and calorie free)
1 bag of Hy-Vee Frozen berry mixture (12oz)
I let the berries thaw on paper towels to get rid of the extra moisture, and thawed out the Cool Whip. In a large mixing bowl, mixed all 3 ingredients together until blended well and put a lid on it and stuck in in the freezer. (I did pull it out a few times to stir it so it would freeze somewhat even and see how it was setting up) about an hour -hour and a half later we had the most delicious dessert! Tastes a lot like frozen yogurt, but without the aspartame taste some of it has! This makes around 18 -1/2 cup servings
Nutritional info per 1/2 cup
Calories-57
Fat-0
Carbs-10
Sugar-6
We are topping it with some fresh strawberries and chowing down! Such a good alternative to ice cream, and although it tastes similar to yogurt, it is sweeter and more like a dessert!

This sounds like a recipe my Mom just gave me. She could not remember the exact amounts of the ingredients but i think this will probably work.
Jello Pie
Jello (any flavor) sugar free if looking for low sugar
Fat free yogurt (6 oz)
Frozen strawberries
Fat free cool whip
Graham cracker crust
Boil water and add jello, drop in sliced berries, add yogurt and mix. Fold in cool whip. Put in graham cracker crust and chill.
I can't wait to try either of them.0 -
For Peanut Butter lovers.. I found this recipe on MFP and make it weekly!
1 tub of Cool Whip - sugar and fat free
3/4 cup light peanut butter ( I have used nutella too)
whip the two together and separate into paper lined muffin pans
drizzle sugar free chocolate drizzle sauce over top
freeze in pan for about 1 hour0 -
That sounds great too, but I am OVER every day on my carbs and sugars so was trying to make something without a crust! It doesnt set up as hard as regular frozen yogurt, but it is really yummy! My grandma used to make jello with fruit in it all the time and it was delicious so I think I will try yours on a cheat day!0

i just made some frozen yogurt! its protein rich.
1 cup of full fat greek yogurt-plain ( you can use any fat % im sure)
1/2 cup of stevia ( 0 calorie sweetner..it measures just like sugar does)
1/4 scoop of chocolate 100% whey protein powder
1tsp vanilla extract *optional
cinnamon *optional
berries* optional
dark chocolate chips *optional ( dark chocolate is better for you than milk chocolate)
i mix all the ingredients together in a jar. then i let it refrigerate for an hour. then i take it out and wrap it with several clothes to keep it warm and place it in the freezer. the reason i put 5 clothes around the jar is because i dont want to be rock solid. i want it to be chilly but have the ice cream consistency. if you have an ice creammaker, use it, but if you do not have one like me, bundle up that cold little jar.
hope you enjoy this recipe. i know i do0 -
yummm saving these for later0
