Low Calorie Foods

Hi There~ I was trying to think of 0 or very low calorie foods to eat? I thought maybe my fitness pal's would write something I haven't thought of yet to eat when I am close to going over my daily calories and I'm still hungry. One of my 0 calorie foods is a dill pickle. What else could I eat for 0 or close to 0 calories??

If it's a real emergency, what about just having a big black coffee, or a nice cup of hot tea ??

I had no idea pickles had no calories. I know you're looking for information but that bit of info just helped me! Thanks and I'll keep my eyes and ears open for you.

When i get close to going over, I usually go for some veggies or fruit. I try to fill up on water when i can, because sometimes my body is actually just thirsty :)
Some people go for the 94% fat free popcorn (15 cal per cup)

any "zero calorie" foods are probably using a loophole in US regulations to cal themselves that.

If it has no calories it isn't a food and it isn't going to help your hunger.

Fat, carbohydrate and protein all have a calorie value per gram. A true zero calorie food is some combination of water and ash, it isn't a "food" at all.

Don't worry I get enough Fat, carbohydrate and protein. Some days I am just more hungry than others. And a pickle does help my little hunger pang go away until my next meal or snack. Thanks!
  • I love cut up veggies, such as celery, bell peppers, cucumbers, etc. Also, frozen fruit is good :)
